California Baptist University, graduated with a Bachelor's in history with a minor in philosophy in 2009. Currently enrolled in CBU's teaching credential program. I have one semester left, student teaching, before achieving my teaching credential and being ready to work full time as a teacher. I specialize in history, but can easily tutor English at any level as well as competently tutor mathematics up to 6th grade.
Experience
I am currently a substitute teacher for the riverside school district during the school year. Last year I tutored with 1 on 1 learning with laptops and ended working with that program at the finish of the school year. I want to be a tutor in order to be able to continue working in my field. I have extensive work experience with kids, having been a summer camp counselor as well as a site coordinator for an after school program. I love working with kids, and love being able to see the looks on their faces when they learn a new concept that they might have previously struggled with.
