Education

I am a senior-year Civil Engineering student from California Baptist University, in Riverside. I have an overall 3.88 GPA overall, and have been fortunate to appear on the Dean's/Provost's list every semester since 2010. I have been blessed to receieve several academic honors such as the Alpha-Chi National Honors Society, A merit-based presidential scholarship, and the best of all having been able to tutor my fellow classmates throughout several classes ever since High-schoo In June, 2014 I will be joining the NASA Langley Research center for a temporarly consultancy job with NASA, as a civil engineer. Later on, I am planning to pursue a Masters of Science degree in Civil Engineering either at carnegie Mellon University in 2015. My longtime goal is to become an Engineering professor.

Experience

I have experience with tutoring for both High School and College in Math, Physics, Chemistry, and Engineering courses. -In HIGH SCHOOL: I tutored Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and science classes and French. I helped several individuals improve their grades, and passing college entrance exams. -In COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY: For the past two years I have been working as a tutor/peer adviser at Cal Baptist university's Academic Success Center (ASC). Although I prefer not to brag about it, at the ASC, I have the best reviews among Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Engineering tutors. I owe this splendid reputation to nothing else but my ability to put myself in the tutee's shoe, and develop the best way to best meet their needs, making sure they not only learn, but master the topic being discussed. I In my past, I have always been a dedicated hard-worker and I take my job seriously. All my past employers, tutee's would/describe as a very flexible, highly reliable individual.
