Hello everyone, my name is Rahul and I am currently a junior at UC Riverside. I am majoring in applied mathematics for I have a passion for working with numbers and problem solving. I have had several experiences tutoring as I volunteered at Club Swain (sponsored by the Boys and Girls Club) for a year helping students with homework problems on various subjects. My biggest strength is math so it would be preferable to work with a student that needed assistance in that area. I believe math is the greatest subject because it can always be verified and it is all based on facts and methods as there is no gray area. Solving math problems can be a number of steps so I always like students to try particular problems a multiple of times so they can get used to the methods in order to solve the problems. If applicable, I like to set real world examples so the student can develop more perspective on the problem. Visuals are always a good way to develop a better understanding of the problem such as drawing pictures, graphs, etc. I have great patience for I know that math can be struggling and tedious so if anyone is looking for additional help, I would appreciate it if you allowed me to assist you. My rates are fair and the results will be worthwhile. Thank you.
