I have been teaching for 7 years at the university level, both as a graduate student and as a professor, and I have over 9 years of past private tutoring experience. My tutoring experience includes a variety of chemistry (general, inorganic, organic), biology, physics, calculus, algebra 2 and geometry. My university teaching experience includes professional instructor in general chemistry lab/organic chemistry lab/discussion/lecture at UCR, University of La Verne and Southern California University of Health Sciences. I try to provide a friendly, encouraging approach to help students who may not be confident in their abilities and work step by step to prevent them from feeling overwhelmed.
