UCLA, B.A. in Psychology and minor in Disability Studies. Class of 2016. In the Fall, I will be attending Loma Linda University in pursuit of a Master's degree in Social Work and Criminal Justice and I hope to serve the disability population in the near future with both positive policy reform and through direct service.
Experience
For the past 6 years, I have tutored individuals of all ages in various subjects. I'm looking to offer tutoring services to students in grades K-12 that need help in either English (Reading/Writing/Grammar/Vocabulary), Math, SAT prep, or select high school Advanced Placement (AP) courses. In high school I took and passes tests for AP US History, AP Psychology, AP English Literature & Composition. I also spent a majority of my four years at UCLA taking part in graduate research projects, writing and editing research proposals and papers, and analyzing data through statistical software. With this experience, I'm extremely qualified in helping with college level courses/research papers. I'm very well-educated in courses that focus upon Psychology, Sociology, Environmental Studies, Disability Studies and anything research oriented. During my time at UCLA, I was a part of the Psychology of Social Justice research lab, Watts Tutorial tutoring club, worked with licenses professions on disability and abuse research, and was a project manager for a Diversity and Climate research workshop series. I'm more than happy to share my full resume with those who are interested.
