I am a graduate student at California Baptist University in Music Composition. In 2019 I graduated with a Bacehlor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Music in Composition, Cum Lauda.
Experience
I am involved in the California Baptist University Choir and Orchestra, concert choir, and chamber singers. I have also taken classes in composition, theory, counterpoint, orchestration, music history, and music education. As a history major, I took classes in U.S. History, European History, and historiography. Currently, I am a teaching intern for orchestration at California Baptist University.

Hobbies
In my undergraduate studies school, I sang in the University Choir and Orchestra, performing contemporary Christian Music, recording with Lifeway, and touring around the United States. In Concert Choir I sang classic choral pieces such as The Messiah, Elijah, and Mozart's Requiem. This led me to write my own classical choral music. My senior recital included a 3-part Gloria, using both Latin and English text, and accompanied by a string quartet. It also included an a capella piece called "My Heart Sings," which I wrote for my favorite composer, Ēriks Ešenvalds. I love traveling and have visited Canada, Iceland, China, and Poland. Next on my list is hopefully Scotland one day! I also like photography, musical theater, piano, reading, and watching weird BBC shows on Netflix.
