If there's anything you're curious about China, I'd love to take you through the path to find the real answer, only if you're curious. * About my language ability: --I'm a native speaker speaking standard Mandarin. I grew up in Beijing, China and came to the U.S. when I was 18 years old. --I enjoy learning languages myself and I'm fascinated by different culture. I started learning my second foreign language when I was 14 years old and I still keep learning new languages now. ---I know the crucial parts of learning Mandarin for students with different language and culture background - you're learning a whole new "sound system" and a new way of thinking. * About my teaching ability: ---I have taught foreigners Chinese since I was back there in middle school and have made many good friends who are from other countries such as America, Canada, Korea, Japan and France. ---I can teach Mandarin to all ages with all levels. I have tutored Mandarin for 7 years. The age range in my "student list" is from 6 months (^^) to 37 years old. I've had a great time with all of them and I can't wait to invite more people to join this big Mandarin family! I'll take you into the door of Chinese world in the most standard and formal way. ---I enjoy teaching and sharing this language and culture with people who are interested. I am very responsible, patient and fun. I try to make it as useful as possible for you in a practical and interesting way of teaching. I want to make sure that you learn something from me every time and transfer them to your own so that it's worth it for both of us. ---Learning in a comfortable condition is very important especially for languages. You're the center trying to reach your goal and I'm here to find the way that helps you the most. Hopefully we can be good friends as well! ^^ * About me & China: ---In China, people think that I have a typical Chinese girl's look. Hehe! ---I've learnt Chinese Ethnic Dance for 16 years. Besides, I've learnt Chinese Painting for few years when I was younger as well. ---My parents took me to travel every year in holiday so I have been to most part of China and have experienced different culture, food, views etc (The Diversity of China). I think I'm very lucky for that! :) * Helping you to learn about China through any degree also helps me to learn about the world.
